Unforgettable Night with Chapelle & Friends
GOAT Chapelle … His entire night was a HIT. The Cheers theme song was literally scream-sang by the crowd. His openers were also hilarious. They were all THINKING and TALKING after. The crowd was on their feet! Dancing, singing, then hushed and hanging on to his words, and next screaming with his outlandishness. You always walk away with a lesson from him — and something new to think about, a different perspective to consider. Pretty refreshing after being locked down for over a year from covid, the content impacted everyone differently. Even the hype man MC/DJ at the beginning. Everyone had to get tested at the show site beforehand. Was it absolutely necessary and worth it YES!!! The way this production handled COVID was amazing too. I took a gamble and brought my employees … Thank you Keller Williams and event organizers for making COVID testing so convenient and quick. Was it a bit of a hassle? Yes! Finally, an event that set the standard for COVID safety … we could all be inside together and feel comfortable to laugh and just be normal. The vibe in the crowd was LIT. Everyone was upbeat and positive and friendly to each other. Laughing together. All walks. Having a moment. It was a completely mixed-race crowd too. It just helped everyone relax afterward. And I think it also weeded out anyone who didn’t REALLY want to be there.
